We arrived in Zurich early this morning and took the train to Luzern/Lucerne. We are staying at a favorite hotel (Des Alps) overlooking the Reuss River and the Chapel bridge. We rolled our suitcases a few blocks from the train station to the hotel. We have a lovely balcony.
We wandered the town taking in all of the beautifully painted buildings.
This one looks like it was influenced by Where the Wild Things Are or Maurice Sendak was influenced by this.
It's a little chilly today, but the sun keeps peeping out. The swans are out in force on the lake as usual.
A good first day.
