We decided to take a train to Verona for the day. It's really has a lovely old town. It was very pleasant to walk around.
Here's the supposed Juliet balcony in the Casa di Giulietta. I think it's just a tourist thing, but still fun to see and the courtyard wasn't crowded.
There is a Dante statue in one of the quieter squares.
We walked to the river and there was great scenery.
We took a vaporetto back to our hotel and had a good view of the restaurants around Rialto Bridge.
An excellent day.
