It has been really cloudy in Bologna. We looked at where we could get some sun for the day and took a 35-minute train into Firenze. What a gorgeous day. We started at the Firenze Synagogue which we have never seen.
The building was really stunning.
We then walked to the Duomo and had lunch at one of our favorite spots from last year in a fairly quiet square.
We then wandered through the outdoor gallery of the Uffizi. Really pleasant.
We ended up at the Arno River and Ponte Vecchio. What a terrific day of sun and beauty.
